Terry Peak Lookout Tower

Located 4 miles southwest of Lead, South Dakota at an elevation of 7064 feet, the Terry Peak Lookout Tower is open to the public. On good days you can get a 360 degree view of the Black Hills. You can see parts of Montana, Wyoming, and even North Dakota. The tower is located on the back side of Terry Peak so if you visit it in the winter, you get a great view of the skiers. The road going up there can be scary at times, so use caution.
