Skyline Drive Wilderness Area

The Skyline Drive Wilderness Area is located in the heart of Rapid City and encompasses 150 acres of undeveloped forest and meadows around Skyline Drive and Dinosaur Park. It contains trails for hiking and mountain biking and has 2 access points along Skyline Drive as well as one at Dinosaur Park. The south Access Point has more parking and has restroom facilities. If you don’t want to get out of your car, the drive alone is very pretty with some awesome views of the city.
