Sheridan Lake Campground
Sheridan Lake Campground is located just north of Hill City, South Dakota off Highway 385. It is a large campground that is on the south shore of Sheridan Lake. The campground has 5 large loops and can accommodate RVs, tents, and trailers. There is no electricity, but the campground has vault toilets, picnic tables, campfire rings, and drinking water. There is access to the Flume Trailhead, South beach area, and South boat ramp. Some of the camping spots are closer to the lake than others, but every site is pretty and more private than at most campgrounds.
