Presidential Trail Loop In Deadwood

Gorgeous 3.5 mile loop that hikes above Deadwood, South Dakota.

Start of the trail just west of Whitewood Creek Trail in Deadwood, South Dakota.

Start of the trail goes up a pretty steep hill.

Starts off in the shade.

Lots of flowers.

Deadwood Welcome Center below.

Can you spot the chipmunk?

Can see Mount Moriah Cemetery from the trail.

At this intersection I recommend crossing the road and doing the trail counter clockwise.

Left continues on the trail - right goes up to White Rocks, but it is not marked.
