Prairie Dog Town
The Prairie Dog Town is located at the base of Devil’s Tower. There are over 600 prairie dogs there and the town is spread over 40 acres of land that is near the Belle Fourche River, and extends into the campground, near the amphitheater, picnic area, and by the hiking trails. The prairie dogs are cute, but must not be fed, or approached.
Prairie dogs are by the picnic area also.
