Palmer Creek To Lost Cabin 2 Trail
Palmer Creek Trail is a short 1/4 mile hike that connects to the Lost Cabin #2 Trail. It is a shortcut to Black Elk Peak using the Lost Cabin #2 trail, or you can just hike the short 1/2 mile hike there and back to stretch your legs. Some people combine it with the other hikes to Black Elk for a long loop for backpacking or horseback trips. The loop would also include Trail #9N, Trail #9S, and part of the Willow Creek Trail.
The trailhead starts off Palmer Creek Road which runs between Highway 244 and Highway 87.
