Long Valley Picnic Area
The Long Valley Picnic Area has five picnic sites and is located in Spearfish Canyon near Spearfish, South Dakota. The picnic area is along Spearfish Creek, and restroom facilities are available. It is a nice place to take a break and enjoy the beautiful canyon especially in the fall. There is limited parking and turning around in a larger vehicle is not advised.
Pit toilet on site.
Right along Spearfish Creek.
Easily accessible but usually busy or full in the summer.
Nice picnic spots.
Nice place to take a break when biking Spearfish Canyon Road.
