Fort Hayes is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day and has all you can eat cowboy pancakes for 99 cents. They also have a Dances With Wolves Film Set, Rope Shop, Tin Shop, Gem Panning, Brick Maker, and Souvenir Gift Shop. It's a fun place to see and can make for a cheap breakfast for the whole family. On Sunday mornings they sometimes have church music. Fort Hayes is located on Mount Rushmore Rd and Fort Hayes Dr just west of Rapid City and east of Reptile Gardens.
