Breezy Point Picnic Area/Trail

This is a beautiful picnic area off Highway 244 just west of Mount Rushmore. The area has just 5 picnic spots, but it is usually overlooked by those in a hurry to see Mount Rushmore. There is a short cement (handicapped accessible) path that leads you to a scenic overlook that is fun to walk and explore. There is a bathroom on site, and this is just a really pretty area to take a break and have a lunch or snack.
