Biking The Creekside Trail

The Creekside Trail is a hard-surfaced trail that goes between the Grace Coolidge Campground and the Visitor’s Center. The trail is very simple, is about 2.5 miles one way, and passes the State Game Lodge, the Peter Norbeck Visitor’s Center, and the Coolidge General Store.

We rode this trail on the first day of Spring and it was amazing. Not too hard of a trail, we got to see lots of mountain goats, and it was so peaceful. It was definitely a good way to start the new season. Could easily bike the whole trail there and back in under an hour.

Start of the trail at the Custer State Park Visitor’s Center.

Go pass the Game Lodge Campground.

Go through a couple of gates.

Pass the State Game Lodge.

Coolidge General Store.

End of the trail at the Grace Coolidge Campground.

Crossed the street to check out the mountain goats.
