Actual Geographical Center of the United States

The geographical center of the entire United States, including Alaska and Hawaii, is located near Belle Fourche, South Dakota at approximately 44°58′N 103°46′W. There are 2 locations that mark this spot - one in the town of Belle Fourche (which is a tourist site), and then the actual true location about 20 miles north of Belle Fourche. The true location is in the middle of nowhere in a field, so it does not get as many visitors.
